Introduction

EDUCATION

To keep the special children educated, arrangements are made to impart the education upto level IV. For this purpose, an assessment team is formatted which assess every child at the time of his / her admission in Al-Shifa Trust.

The main purpose of this assessment team is to analyse the IQ level of the child. After the assessment it is decided that which class suits to him / her. The school timings at Al-Shifa Trust are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. During this period they get education, treatment, food, and extra curriculum activities.

The school section is consisting of the following departments where education and treatment is given to such kind of children who are affected with cerebral palsy or other motor disorder.

Conductive Education:

Workshop

Conductive Education is a method of education, which was originated by Dr. Andrea's Peto from Budapest, we are doing this method of education in Al-Shifa for the last 5 years. Hand Function: In this class we keep those children who need more work and concentration to develop their hand function skill.

Class-A: In this class children learn through toys, music drawing, videos and other equipments.

Class-B: In this class children learn education at the Montessori level

Class-C: >From Class C, children start the basic education.

Class-D: In this class, children start the normal education and they start to prepare for integration into normal school.

Class-E: This is the last class in Al-Shifa where special stress is laid on Math, English, Islamic studies, General Knowledge, and other subjects. After passing Class E, children are integrated into normal schools in their living locality. We are maintaining a good standard of education, which provide them an opportunity to get admission in normal schools without facing any problem.

From Class B, children start their Dars-e-Quran and Basic Islamic Studies.
